The Baltimore Ravens have claimed TE Ryan Taylor off of waivers from the Green Bay Packers, according to Aaron Wilson.
- The Ravens waived TEย Phillip Supernaw to make room for him.
- Baltimore also signedย DEย Steven Means to their practice squad.
The Packers somewhat surprisingly placed Taylor on waivers Monday as they added a receiver to their active roster.
Taylor, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Packers back inย 2011 out of North Carolina. He was entering the final year of his rookie contract.
Over the course of his four years with the Packers, Taylor has appeared in 50 games and caught eight passes for 45 yards receiving and a touchdown. He has been a regular contributor to the Packers’ย the special-teams unit since entering the NFL.
