Ravens RB Alex Collins Arrested Following Car Crash

Ravens RB Alex Collins was arrested Friday morning following a car crash, according to the Baltimore Sun.

The report says police responded to a car that had crashed into a tree at about 6:48 a.m. It’s unclear whether Collins was driving the car, but he was arrested.

The charges against Collins aren’t known at this time, but the Ravens are aware of the situation.

Collins, 24, is a former fifth-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2016. He was entering the second year of his four-year, $2.566 million contract that included a $184,384 signing bonus when he was cut loose the by the Seahawks at the start of the 2017 season.

Collins signed on to the Ravens’ practice squad a few days later and was eventually promoted to their active roster. The Ravens brought him back on an exclusive rights contract last year and he’s now in line to be a restricted free agent this offseason.

In 2018, Collins appeared in 10 games and rushed for 411 yards on 114 carries (3.6 YPC) to go along with 15 receptions for 105 yards receiving and eight total touchdowns.
