Ravens Tried Out WR Michael Floyd

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Ravens brought in free agent WR Michael Floyd for a tryout on Friday.

This is the first reported interest in Floyd since the free agent market officially opened.

Floyd, 28, is a former first-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2012. He played his four-year, $9.972 million contract before the Cardinals elected to pick up his fifth-year option in 2015.

After he was arrested for DUI in 2016, Arizona elected to cut him loose and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Patriots. The Vikings signed him to a one-year, $1.41 million contract last year and he’s once again testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2017, Floyd appeared in 11 games for the Vikings and caught 10 passes for 78 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
