The duo will join DC Jack Del Rio to form the core of new HC Ron Rivera’s staff in Washington.

Turner, 37, is the son of veteran coach Norv Turner. He began his NFL career as a graduate assistant at Oregon State back in 2005. He took his first NFL coaching job with the Panthers in 2011 as their offensive quality control coordinator.

From there, Turner had stints with the Browns and Vikings before he was eventually hired as the Panthers’ QBs coach in 2018. Carolina promoted him to offensive coordinator/QBs coach last year.

Kaczor got his start in the NFL back in 2008 as an assistant special teams coach with the Jaguars. Kaczor joined the Titans in 2012 as an assistant OL coach and was promoted after a year to ST coordinator. He spent three seasons with the Buccaneers as their special teams coordinator before joining the Redskins in the same role in 2018.

In 2019, Kaczor helped P Tress Way earn Pro Bowl recognition. Washington’s special teams unit ranked No. 6 in the NFL per Football Outsiders.
