Redskins Signing OT Corey Robinson

According to John Keim, the Redskins are signing OT Corey Robinson to a contract on Friday.

Robinson worked out for Washington earlier in the day along with veteran LT Donald Penn and it appears as though Robinson was the most impressive players trying out today.

Keim adds that there’s still a chance the Redskins could sign Penn at some point.

Robinson, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the Lions back in 2015. The Lions traded him to the Panthers for a conditional 2020 seventh-round pick coming out of the preseason.

The Panthers waived Robinson last year and he later had a brief stint with the Jaguars.

In 2018, Robinson appeared in six games for the Panthers and Jaguars and made one start.
