Report: Colts WR LaVon Brazill Suspended For “At Least” One Year

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that the Colts WR LaVon Brazill has been suspended for “at least” one year for violating the league’s policy for substances of abuse.

The Colts have brought in some young receivers in recent years with the additions of Da’Rick Rogers and Donte Moncrief, so this could ultimately have an impact on his future with the team.

Brazill, 25, still has two years remaining on his rookie contract worth $2.178 million. He has base salaries $570,000 and $660,000 coming his way over the next two years, but his suspension would likely reduce his 2013 salary.

Last year, he totaled 161 yards receiving on 12 receptions and two touchdowns over the course of 10 games.
