John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia reported earlier in the week that the Eagles reached out to WR Torrey Smith about returning to the NFL, but Smith opted to stay retired.
Smith announced his retirement from the NFL back in September, via the Uninterrupted.

Smith, 30, is a former second-round pick of the Ravens back in 2011. After finishing his four-year rookie deal with the Ravens in 2015, the 49ers signed him to a five-year, $40 million contract but released him two years into the deal.
Smith later joined the Eagles before being traded to the Panthers last year in exchange for CB Daryl Worley. Smith was in the final year of his three-year, $15 million contract when the Panthers released him coming out of the preseason.
For his career, Smith caught 319 passes for 5,141 yards receiving and 41 touchdowns over the course of eight seasons and 119 games.
