ESPN’s Adam Caplan reports that former Chargers WR Vincent Brown has interest from eight NFL teams and is expected to begin working out for them next week.

Brown passed through waivers unclaimed earlier this week and reportedly had received interest from multiple teams.

San Diego waived Brown last weekend as they worked to trim their roster down to 53 players. After he cleared waivers, the Chargers placed him on injured reserve and later waived him with an injury settlement.

Brown, 25, is a former third-round pick and is entering the final season of his rookie contract. Last year, Brown appeared in all 16 games for the Chargers and caught 41 passes for 472 yards receiving and one touchdown.

We’ll have updates regarding interested teams as the news is available.
