Report: Cardinals Couldn’t Reach An Agreement With OT Tyson Clabo Following Workout

Update:

ESPN’s Adam Caplan reports that although there was mutual interest between free agent OT Tyson Clabo and the Cardinals following his workout, the two sides were unable to reach an agreement on a contract.

This is somewhat surprising given the lack of buzz surrounding Clabo this offseason. Apparently, he is only willing to play at the right price.

Last year, Clabo appeared in 15 games for Miami last year and rated as the No. 45 offensive tackle in the league, according to Pro Football Focus.

We’ll have more regarding Clabo and the Cardinals as the news is available.

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that free agent OT Tyson Clabo is expected to work out for the Cardinals on Monday.

Arizona could really use some depth at offensive tackle, even if Clabo is unable to secure a roster spot during training camp. Of course, the Cardinals would have to sign him to a contract and there is no guarantee of that happening.

Clabo, 32, has found no reported interest as a free agent up to this point, but this could end up being a decent opportunity for him.
