Matt Zenitz of the Carroll County Times reports that free agent S Christian Thompson will work out for the Redskins Wednesday.
Thompson, 23, was a fourth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2012. He appeared in six games for them during the 2012 season, but was released back in October shortly after he finished serving a four-game ban for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy.
Thompson has already worked out for the Bears a few months ago, but there hasn’t been any buzz surrounding him since.
He would almost certainly have to compete for a roster spot in training camp after sitting out most of the 2013 season.
