Report: NFL Teams Calling Packers About TE Brandon Bostick

ESPN’s Ed Werder reports that teams around the league have inquired about the availability of some of the Packers tight ends.

  • Werder specifically mentions that Brandon Bostick drawing attention from NFL clubs.

Tight end has been a position of strength for the Packers for a few seasons now. There has been some speculation that D.J. Williams could be on the chopping block, so it would make sense for Green Bay to consider trading him if there is a reasonable amount of interest.

Bostick, an undrafted free agent out of Newberry, has reportedly been considered a possible long-term replacement for Jermichael Finley who will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.

The Dolphins could use some help at tight end now that Dustin Keller is done for the year.

We’ll have to see if the Packers are willing to part with one of their tight ends for either draft compensation or a specific player.
