Report: Packers TE Brandon Bostick Has “Slight” Fibula Fracture

Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that the Packers TE Brandon Bostick has a “slight” fibula fracture and his best for a return is either Week 2 or 3.

  • McGinn adds that there is a chance he could be out even longer than that.

Bostick left last weeks game against the Rams with what was referred to as a lower-leg injury, but it appears to be more serious than that.

It looks like third-round pick Richard Rodgers is now the favorite to open the season as the Packers No. 1 tight end, but there is still a chance that veteran Andrew Quarless could see a decent amount of playing time as well.

We’ll have more regarding Bostick and his injury as the news is available.
