According to D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Falcons RB Steven Jackson plays to play against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
Jackson has missed the team’s past four games with a hamstring injury, so it will be interesting to see what kind of workload the Falcons give him in his return to game action. Jacquizz Rodgers and Jason Snelling filled in for Jackson, but overall they weren’t all that effective.
Atlanta has suffered numerous injuries to key players this season, so it’s just a good sign that they are getting some of their core players back. They beat Tampa Bay last weekend for only their second win of the season.
