Report: Virginia OT Morgan Moses Visited Cardinals, Panthers & Saints

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post, citing a league source, reports that Virginia OT Morgan Moses visited with, among others, the Cardinals, Panthers and Saints.

  • Wilson added that Moses had 13 scheduled visits and workouts, but the teams conducting those workouts largely remain a mystery.

Moses is usually projected to go anywhere from the middle to the end of round one.  His best attributes are his long arms, and agility.

The Cardinals, Panthers and Saints all select in the bottom half of round one.  Moses could become a hot commodity as the top four offensive tackles-Greg Robinson, Jake Matthews, Taylor Lewan and Zack Martin-will likely be off the board in the top half of the round.  Thus, teams seeking an offensive tackle could be aggressive in their pursuit of Moses.

One team to watch could be Miami, who is in desperate need of an offensive tackle.

Accordingly, we have Moses going to the Dolphins in the first round of our most recent 2014 NFL Mock Draft.
