Roethlisberger Suffered Small Setback

ESPN’s Jamison Hensley reports that Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger mentioned that he suffered a “little setback” during Sunday’s win over the Browns.

“I had a little setback early in the third quarter [at Cleveland last Sunday],” Roethlisberger said on Wednesday. “We’re working really hard with the trainers and doctors to get back to even where we were before the Cleveland game. I felt pretty good going in and moved a little bit at the beginning of that game. It’s a little setback but we’ll get moving.”

I don’t know if I caught on the ground wrong or got hit … we’ll see,” Roethlisberger said. “We’ll be all right.

The Steelers offense hasn’t been the same since Big Ben sprained his ankle as they’ve only scored two touchdowns in the last two games. In fact, Roethlisberger has thrown only one-touchdown to go with four interceptions which is a pretty strong indication as to how bad the injury is. Still, Roethlisberger’s ankle injury isn’t believed to be anything major and Pittsburgh should still be favored on the road against the Broncos this weekend.
