Saints Release OT Ulrick John From IR With Settlement

The New Orleans Saints officially released veteran OT Ulrick John from injured reserve with a settlement on Thursday.

John, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the Colts back in 2014. He lasted over a year in Indianapolis before signing on to the Dolphins’ active roster.

John had brief stints with the Cardinals and Packers before the Patriots signed him for the 2018 season. Unfortunately, John spent the season on injured reserve.

The Saints signed John to a contract back in May before recently placing him on injured reserve.

In 2017, John was active for five games.
