Reed, 27, wound up signing on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn back in 2015. He had brief stints with the Dolphins, Seahawks, and Chargers before he signed on to the 49ers’ practice squad towards the end of last season.
San Francisco elected to bring him back on a futures contract this past January but waived him last month. This marks his second time on the Seahawks.
In 2016, Reed appeared in six games for the Chargers and recorded 14 tackles, two interceptions and three pass defenses.
