Seahawks Worked Out 7 Players Including OL Andrew Gardner

According to Adam Caplan, the Seahawks brought in OL Andrew GardnerĀ for a workout on Tuesday.

Gardner, 30, is a former sixth-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2009. He spend just over a year in Miami before bouncing around with a number of teams including the Ravens, Vikings, Bengals and Texans before eventually signing on with the Eagles in 2014.

Gardner agreed to take a pay cut from the Eagles while he was in the second year of his four-year, $5.495 million contract and would have made a base salary of $1,183,333 for the 2016 season.

Unfortunately, Gardner was among Philadelphia’s roster cuts as they trimmed down to 75 players.

In 2015, Gardner appeared in three games for the Eagles before he was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a foot injury.
