Steelers Give Head Coach Mike Tomlin A Contract Extension Through 2016

Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that the Steelers have re-signed head coach Mike Tomlin to a contract extension that will keep him with the team through the 2016 season.

We are pleased to announce that Mike Tomlin will remain with the Steelers for at least five more years,” said Steelers president Art Rooney.

Tomlin has done more than enough to justify this deal, considering that he’s taken his team to the Super Bowl twice in the last five years.
