The Steelers officially re-signed S Will Allen to a contract on Friday, according to the NFL transactions release.
Blake Baratz, the agent for Steelers S Will Allen, announced via his Twitter account that his client has re-signed with the team on Wednesday.
Allen, 31, has spent the past four years in Pittsburgh since coming over from the Buccaneers back in 2010. He appeared in all 16 games for the Steelers this past year and totaled 44 tackles, two interceptions a forced fumble and a recovery.
He was rated as the No. 30 player in the league this past season, according to Pro Football Focus.
