Steelers Sign Third-Round Pick RB Dri Archer

 

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Steelers have signed third-round pick RB Dri Archer to a four-year deal on Thursday.

The Steelers have all but one of their 2014 draft picks under contract with the only remaining player being second-round selection DL Stephon Tuitt.

Archer’ four-year contract is worth an estimated $2,726,016 and includes a signing bonus of $506,016, according to OverTheCap.com.

During his four-year career at Kent State, Archer recorded 2,342 yards rushing on 325 carries (7.2 YPC) and 1,194 yards receiving. He scored 40 total touchdowns over the course of 47 games.
