Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Steelers worked out TE Rashaun Allen in recent days.
Allen, 26, originally signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Southern University back in 2014. He lasted just a few months in Seattle before he was waived and later signed to the Vikings’ practice squad.
After just a few days in Minnesota, Allen returned to the Seahawks. The Saints would later sign him to their practice squad last season before cutting him loose earlier in the week.
In 2014, Allen appeared in a single game for the Seahawks, but did not record a statistic.
