Taylor Mays To Replace Chris Crocker As The Bengals Safety?

The Cincinnati Bengals have released S Chris Crocker today.

Crocker is currently 32 and his production hasn’t exactly been great in recent years so the team will likely look for some younger replacements. Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer believes Taylor Mays, who was acquired from the 49ers last year, will most likely get a shot to take over Crocker’s safety duties next season.

There’s still a good chance that they could target someone in the draft. If Alabama S Mark Barron falls to them at #17, you’d have to think that they would strongly consider drafting him.
