According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, the Texans are bringing in free agent CB Cyrus Jones for a visit to evaluate his medical status a year after he underwent open-heart surgery.

The Texans are also working out WR Chris Finke, DB Montae Nicholson, and LB Corey Thompson while hosting C Bean Benzschawel for a visit.
The Texans could use some cornerback depth right now after Bradley Roby was suspended for the remainder of the season.
Jones was dealing with an anomalous coronary artery, which is a congenital heart defect that causes an artery to grow in the wrong place. He had surgery last year.
Jones, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Patriots back in 2016. He was entering the third year of his four-year, $4 million contract when the Patriots waived him coming out of the preseason in 2018.
Jones had a brief stint on the Ravens’ practice squad before returning to the Patriots. From there, he re-joined the Ravens before eventually being claimed by the Broncos last year.
In 2019, Jones appeared eight games and recorded three tackles to go along with 113 punt return yards.
