The Houston Texans announced Wednesday that they’ve promoted NT Chunky Clements to their active roster and signed G Dorian Johnson to their practice squad.
The Texans’ practice squad now consists of:
- CB Bryce Jones
- OLB Gimel President
- G David Quessenberry
- G Chad Slade
- LB LaTroy Lewis
- CB Dee Virgin
- WR Cobi Hamilton
- TE MyCole Pruitt

Clements, 22, originally signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois back in July. Minnesota cut him loose as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit.
The Texans signed Clements to their practice squad a few weeks ago.
During his four-year college career, Clements recorded 99 tackles, 26.5 tackles for a loss, six sacks, three forced fumbles, a recovery and five pass defenses over the course of 37 games.
