John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports that the Texans have re-signed K Nick Novak.
- Meanwhile, Aaron Wilson is reporting that the Texans have also re-signed offensive lineman Jeff Adams.
Novak, 34, was a somewhat surprising cut from the Chargers at the start of last year. However, he managed to catch on with the Texans midseason after trying out for a few teams.
In 2015, Novak converted 18-of-21 field goal attempts (85.7 percent), which includes two of five attempts from over 50 yards. He also had 24 touchbacks, but missed two extra point tries.
