Texans Sign Rookies CB Kevin Johnson & RB Kenny Hilliard

Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that the Texans have signed first-round pick CB Kevin Johnson to a four-year.

  • The Texans also signed seventh-round selection RB Kenny Hilliard to a four-year agreement as well.

Johnson wound up being the second cornerback to come off the board and gives the Texans a much deeper group of cornerbacks heading into the 2015 season.

According to Wilson, Johnson’s rookie contract is worth $10.049 million fully guaranteed and includes a $5.5 million signing bonus.

During his four years at Wake Forest, Johnson recorded 189 tackles, a half sack, seven interceptions, three forced fumbles and 38 pass defenses.
