Titans No Longer Signing S Walt Aikens

According to Adam Schefter, the deal between the Titans and S Walt Aikens fell through.

Schefter says after taking a physical with the Titans, Aikens will instead remain a free agent. 

Aikens, 29, is a former fourth-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2,635,908 contract with the Dolphins before agreeing to a new two-year, $2.7 million contract that included $1.3 million guaranteed back in 2018. 

Aikens has been testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent since March. 

In 2019, Aikens appeared in 15 games for the Dolphins and recorded 20 tackles, no interceptions and a pass defense.
