Titans Sign RB Jeremy McNichols Off Broncos’ PS, Waive RB Dalyn Dawkins

The Tennessee Titans announced Monday that they’ve signed RB Jeremy McNichols off of the Broncos’ practice squad and waived RB Dalyn Dawkins.

  • The Titans also signed CB Kenneth Durden to their practice squad and released OL Jordan Morgan from the unit.

Here’s the Titans updated practice squad:

  1. DB Josh Kalu
  2. DB Damon Webb
  3. G David Quessenberry
  4. LB LaTroy Lewis
  5. G Jamil Douglas
  6. LB Nigel Harris
  7. WR Roger Lewis
  8. WR Devin Ross
  9. DB Michael Jordan
  10. CB Kenneth Durden

McNichols, 23, was selected with the No. 162 overall pick by the Buccaneers in the 2017 draft. He signed a four-year contract worth $2,663,788 with Tampa Bay but was, unfortunately, cut loose coming out of the preseason.

McNichols later decided to sign on to the 49ers’ practice squad and eventually promoted him to their active roster. However, he was once again cut loose coming out of the preseason and had a brief stint with the Colts before the Broncos added him to their taxi squad in October.

During his college career at Boise State, McNichols rushed for 3,205 yards on 571 carries (5.6 YPC) to go along with 103 receptions for 1,089 yards receiving and 55 total touchdowns over the course of three seasons and 34 games.
