Titans Officially Sign Veteran CB Johnathan Joseph

Update:

The Tennessee Titans announced Wednesday that they’ve officially signed veteran CB Johnathan Joseph to a contract.

Dianna Russini reports that the Titans are signing veteran CB Johnathan Joseph to a contract on Wednesday.

According to Mike Garafolo, Joseph receives a one-year contract from the Titans.

Joseph, 36, is a former first-round pick of the Bengals back in 2006. He spent five years in Cincinnati before departing for a free agent deal with the Texans in 2011.

Joseph was in the final year of his three-year, $22 million contract when he agreed to a new two-year contract in 2018. He’s in line to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

In 2019, Joseph appeared in 14 games for the Texans and recorded 51 tackles, one interception and 13 passes defended. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 58 cornerback out of 113 qualifying players.

We had him included in our Top 100 Available 2020 Free Agents list.
