TRADE: Steelers Trade OT Jerald Hawkins To Buccaneers For 2021 6th-Rd Pick

According to Ray Fittipaldo, the Buccaneers acquired OT Jerald Hawkins and a 2021 seventh-round pick in exchange for a 2021 sixth-round pick from the Steelers. 


The Pittsburgh Steelers have traded OT Jerald Hawkins to the Buccaneers on Saturday, according to Rick Stroud

Stroud adds that the Buccaneers and Steelers will swap draft spots in a late round as part of this deal. 

Hawkins, 25, is a former fourth-round pick out of LSU by the Steelers in the 2016 NFL Draft. He is entering the third year of a four-year, $2.87 million rookie contract and is set to earn a base salary of $720,000 this season.

In 2017, Hawkins appeared in five games for the Steelers and appeared in 48 total snaps.
