Vikings S Andrew Sendejo Suspended One Game

The NFL announced Monday that Vikings S Andrew Sendejo has been suspended one game without pay for violation of safety-related playing rules. This stems from the hit he made on Ravens WR Mike Wallace.

Ian Rapoport reports that Sendejo is appealing his one-game suspension.

Sendejo, 30, originally signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Rice back in 2010. He lasted just over a year in Dallas before he was claimed off of waivers by the Jets.

The Vikings later signed Sendejo to a contract in 2011 and he’s remained in Minnesota since then.

in 2017, Sendejo has appeared in six games and recorded 42 tackles, one interception and two pass defenses for the Vikings.
