Ravens Sign CB Robertson Daniel To Futures Deal

The Ravens announced Wednesday that they’ve signed CB Robertson Daniel to a future/reserve contract.

As of now, the Ravens signed 7 players to futures deals since their season ended:

  1. QB Dustin Vaughan (NFLTR)
  2. RB Stephen Houston
  3. WR Kenny Bell
  4. OL Jarell Broxton
  5. OL Jarrod Pughsley
  6. OL Matt Skura
  7. CB  Robertson Daniel

Daniel, 25, originally signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of BYU back in May of last year. He was unfortunately waived coming out of the preseason but was later signed to the Packers’ practice squad.

Green Bay would eventually call him up towards the end of last year. However, he was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason. Daniel briefly returned to the Packers’ practice squad before being cut loose a few weeks ago.

After a brief stint on the Redskins’ practice squad, Daniel joined the Ravens’ taxi squad during the regular season and has been on and off of the unit.

During his college career at BYU, Daniel recorded 112 tackles, one sack, three interceptions, two forced fumbles, two recoveries and 19 pass defenses.
