The Denver Broncos officially signed nine players to future/reserve contracts on Wednesday including TE Nick Kasa.
The other players signed include: LB Zaire Anderson, RB Kapri Bibbs, G Dillon Day, OT Cameron Jefferson, DB Ryan Murphy, OT Kyle Roberts, WR Jordan Taylor and DE George Uko.
Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and training camp.
Kasa, 25, if a former sixth-round pick of the Raiders back in 2013. He lasted just over two years in Oakland before he was waived shortly after last year’s NFL draft with a failed physical designation.
The Broncos recently signed him to their practice squad before the Super Bowl.
In 2013, Kasa appeared in all 16 games for the Raiders and recorded a single reception for nine yards and a touchdown.
