Chiefs Place CB Keith Reaser On Injured Reserve, Sign DE Hunter Dimick

The Chiefs placed CB Keith Reaser on injured reserve Thursday, signing DE Hunter Dimick to take his spot on the 90-man roster.

Reaser suffered a torn Achilles’ earling during training camp.

Reaser, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the 49ers back in 2014. He spent just over three seasons in San Francisco before signing on to the Chiefs’ practice squad during the 2017 season.

The Chiefs later promoted Reaser to their active roster, but he was waived with an injury settlement last year and sat out the entire 2018 season. After a stint in the AAF, Kansas City brought him back in April.

For his career, Reaser appeared in 30 games and recorded 34 tackles, one sack, two forced fumbles and seven pass defenses.
