Jets HC Aaron Glenn was happy with what he saw from the team in their second preseason game and was pleased by the performance of veteran QB Geno Smith.

“Very, very efficient; he looked very comfortable,” Glenn said via the team’s website. “Exactly what we were looking for. But again, we still have some things we got to work on because our run game wasn’t where it needs to be.”

Patriots

Patriots HC Mike Vrabel is concerned about the team’s depth and health, meaning that the final preseason game likely won’t see the team playing any of their best players.

“I do not think we have a very deep team,” Vrabel said, via Pro Football Talk. “So I think we have to make sure that we are preparing our football team and that we are doing everything that we can to keep our best players available. And if that means playing Thursday as part of preparation, then that is what we will do. I have not made that decision yet, but I would say that that is something that I am confident in with where we are set up currently.”
