The Bears announced on Wednesday they have signed LB James Vaughters to the practice squad.
Here’s an updated look at Chicago’s practice squad:

- WR Thomas Ives
- DB Michael Joseph
- OL Sam Mustipher
- RB Kerrith Whyte
- QB Tyler Bray
- TE Dax Raymond
- LB Fadol Brown (Injured)
- T Dino Boyd
- LB James Vaughters
Vaughters, 26, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford back in 2015. However, he was unfortunately among the Packers roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
Vaughters later had brief stints with the Patriots and Chargers before signing on with the Calgary Stampeders for the 2017 season. The Bears signed him to a futures contract this January and he has bounced on and off their practice squad multiple times this season.
In 2019, Vaughters has appeared in one game for the Bears and recorded one tackle.
