Bears Re-Sign TE Justin Perillo

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Bears have re-signed TE Justin Perillo to a contract on Friday.

Perillo, 25, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Maine back in 2014. He was on and off of the team’s practice squad during his first two years with the Packers but managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason this year.

Green Bay, unfortunately, decided to waive him to make room for LB Carl Bradford on the active roster. Perillo signed on to the Bears’ practice squad back in November before later placing him on the practice squad injured list.

In 2016, Perillo has appeared in eight games for the Packers and caught four passes for 35 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
