Per the NFL’s transaction wire and Albert Breer, the Bengals have placed DL Margus Hunt on the COVID-19 list.

Hunt, 33, is a former second-round pick of the Bengals back in 2013. He played out his four-year, $3,671,100 rookie contract with the Bengals before agreeing to a two-year contract with the Colts for the 2017 season.

Hunt returned to the Colts on a two-year, $9 million contract, but was unfortunately released in a move that cleared $4 million of available cap space for Indianapolis. He signed a one-year deal with the Saints but was released coming out of camp.

From there, Hunt signed on to the Saints’ practice squad and he’s been on and off of their roster ever since.

In 2020, Hunt has appeared in four games for the Saints and recorded three tackles and no sacks.

In his two games with the Bengals, Hunt has yet to record a stat.
