Broncos Sign Former Patriot CB Marquice Cole

The Denver Broncos signed former New England Patriots CB Marquice Cole today, according the NFL transactions release.

The Northwestern product fills an immediate need in the Broncos secondary after CB Chris Harris was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a torn ACL.

Cole was released by the Patriots on December 26, 2013, a fact likely not lost on the Broncos front office.  The Broncos and Patriots will meet on December 19 for the AFC Championship.

Marquice Cole registered  fifteen total tackles and one interception for the Patriots this year in 165 snaps.
