Broncos Sign QB Garrett Grayson To Practice Squad

The Denver Broncos have signed QB Garrett Grayson to their practice squad on Thursday, according to Troy Renck.

Here’s the Broncos updated practice squad:

  1. OL Austin Schlottmann
  2. CB Brendan Langley
  3. S Trey Marshall
  4. OLB Jeff Holland
  5. WR River Cracraft
  6. TE Temarrick Hemingway
  7. NT Niles Scott
  8. RB Jeremy McNichols
  9. OT Andreas Knappe
  10. QB Garrett Grayson

Grayson, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Saints back in 2015. He managed to make the 53-man roster during his rookie season but wound up being among the team’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

The Saints signed him to their practice squad soon after and brought him back on a futures deal last year. However, they decided to cut him loose as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players at the start of the 2017 season.

Grayson was on and off of the Falcons’ practice squad last year before returning to the team on a futures contract this past January. Atlanta waived him coming out of the preseason.

In 2015, Grayson was active for one game for the Saints.
