According to Ryan O’Halloran, the Broncos are waiving QB Nick Stevens and LS Christian Kunitz on Thursday.
O’Halloran notes that the Broncos will likely sign a few of their tryout players to contracts to fill these roster spots.
Stevens, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Colorado State following this year’s draft. He tried out for the Redskins during their minicamp before eventually signing on with the Broncos last month.
During his four-year college career at Colorado State, Stevens threw for 8,554 yards while completing 61.9 percent of his passes to go along with 70 touchdowns and 27 interceptions over the course of 41 games.
