Browns Activate OL Nick McDonald, Waive TE Gerell Robinson

The Cleveland Browns announced Saturday that they have activated OL Nick McDonald (wrist) off the non-football injury list and waived TE Gerell Robinson.

McDonald, 27, was claimed off of waivers by the Browns back in July. He originally signed on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Grand Valley State University back in 2010. However, he lasted only until September before being waived.

The Patriots brought him in for the 2011 and 2012 seasons, but he was once again waived last July. San Diego signed him to a reserve/futures contract back in January before waiving him during the summer.

Robinson, 25, initially signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2012. He later caught on with the Arizona Cardinals when they signed him to their practice squad before joining the Browns in September.
