The Browns claimed C Nick McDonald off of waivers from the Chargers, according to the NFL transactions release.
McDonald, 27, signed on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Grand Valley State University back in 2010. However, he lasted only until September before being waived.
The Patriots brought him in for the 2011 and 2012 seasons, but he was once again waived last July.
San Diego signed him to a reserve/futures contract back in January before waiving him on Monday.
