Browns Place Three On PUP List Including Jabrill Peppers, Lose WR Ricardo Louis For Season

Browns HC Hue Jackson told reporters on Wednesday that they’re placing S Jabrill Peppers, DE Chad Thomas, and OT Desmond Harrison on the PUP list for the start of training camp, per Nate Ulrich.

According to Jackson, WR Ricardo Louis is out for the season with a neck injury, per Scott Petrak.

Peppers, 22, is a former first-round pick of the Browns back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $10.3 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $935,102 and $1.4 million over the next two years of the agreement.

The Browns have a fifth-year option to pick up in 2020.

In 2017, Peppers appeared in 13 games for the Browns and recorded 58 tackles, one interception and three pass defenses. He also contributed 318 kick return yards and 180 punt return yards.
