Browns Sign RB Jahwan Edwards

The Cleveland Browns announced Saturday that they’ve signed RB Jahwan Edwards to a contract.

Edwards, 24, originally signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Ball State back in May of last year. He lasted just a few months in San Diego before he was cut coming out of the preseason.

After a brief stints on the Falcons and Jaguars’ practice squads, Edwards signed a future/reserve contract with the Dolphins this past January. However, he was unfortunately waived shortly after this year’s draft.

During his college career, Edwards ran for 4,558 yards on 884 carries (5.2 YPC) to go along with 57 receptions for 361 yards receiving and 51 total touchdowns.
