Browns Sign Third-Round RB Duke Johnson

The Browns announced on Tuesday that they have signed third-round rookie RB Duke Johnson to a four-year contract.

With the addition of Johnson, the Browns have now signed all of their 12 draft picks.

According to OverTheCap.com, Johnson is projected to receive a four-year contract worth $2,992,436 and includes a $712,436 signing bonus.

Johnson ended his college career with the University of Miami as the school’s all-time leading rusher with 3,519 yards. He also scored 26 rushing touchdowns, compiled 69 receptions for a total of 719 yards, and four touchdown receptions.

In his Senior season, he ranked at No. 7 in all-purpose yards per game with 159.46 yards. His 1,652 rushing yards placed him as the No. 9 overall running back, while also averaging 6.83 yards per carry.
