Per Mary Kay Cabot, Landry had the procedure on February 4. A team spokesman said he’s expected to make a full recovery and return sometime during training camp.

Landry had previously said he was avoiding surgery on the hip injury that bothered him the entire 2019 season, as the six-to-eight month recovery timeline would have sidelined him for the entire offseason.

However, the veteran wide receiver clearly decided to reverse course and go ahead and have the issue taken care of.

Landry, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2014. He was entering the final year of his four-year, $3.5 million contract when Miami traded him to the Browns in 2018.

Cleveland later signed Landry to a five-year, $75M extension with $47M guaranteed.

In 2019, Landry appeared in 16 games for the Browns and caught 83 passes for 1,174 yards receiving and six touchdowns.
