It’s worth mentioning that the Buccaneers are reportedly signing QB Josh Rosen to their practice squad as well, but he’ll likely need to clear COVID-19 protocols before he can be signed.

Grayson, 26, signed a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Seahawks, but last just a few months in Seattle. Grayson has since had brief stints with the Colts, Texans, Bears and Saints before the Cowboys signed him to their practice squad.

The Buccaneers later signed Grayson to their roster last year before cutting him loose on Saturday.

Grayson hadn’t played organized football since 2011 when he was still a senior at Rummel High School in New Orleans. However, Grayson was a standout track star at LSU and a seven-time All-American on both indoor and outdoor tracks. He also won four national championships on relay teams.

In 2019, Grayson appeared in two games for the Buccaneers, catching one pass for three years.
