Buccaneers Sign Second-Round G Ali Marpet

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced the signing of second-round G Ali Marpet to a four-year contract Wednesday night.

The Buccaneers have now locked up their entire 2015 draft class to contracts before the start of training camp.

According to OverTheCap.com, Marpet is projected to receive a four-year contract worth $6,120,558 and includes a $2,711,316 signing bonus.

Marpet should enter training camp as the favorite to secure the starting right guard job at the end of the preseason. Howver, Patrick Omameh and Garrett Gilkey will likely compete for the job as well.

At Hobart, Marpet made 37 starts and earned D-3 All-American honors as a senior left tackle. He was also Offensive Player of the Year in the Liberty League.
